We just installed our first ICON ROCKLEAR Protective Coating for this BMW 330i! This coating is nothing like traditional ceramic coatings. It transforms oxidized and beat down paint bringing back insane amounts of gloss, clarity, and depth. The video doesn’t do it justice! This one was a special one for us. This 1969 Camaro RS/SS came to us for a ceramic coating and polish package before a huge car show, and it was unreal how clean and well taken care of this vehicle was… even though it is driven like it should be! Little backstory for those who care to read… This vehicle is in better than new condition… everything from the paint, engine, chrome , interior, and undercarriage… every last part. Only the finest body shops have seen it for slight touch ups and we were honored to be referred by them to work on such a classic beautiful vehicle. The client reached out to us and came all the way from Bonney Lake because of the trusted referral. When the vehicle arrived we could not believe the condition it was in… better than majority of the brand new off the line vehicles we work on. The client trusted us enough to take care of it and ceramic coat it to protect the vehicle against environmental damage. We did a very light enhancement polish beforehand because that was all that was needed. We work on a lot of amazing new and older vehicles, but this one was unreal. The client bought it down at Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale so we knew it would be amazing. The reason for this small post is to say I (Parker) am so honored to be referred to be the one to work on this vehicle, and for a client who values this car to trust me and my whole team to work on it. I am proud of the team for their hard work and incredible attention to detail checking every last step we did! We may be a small shop, but we really do value each client interaction, each relationship, and each job. A couple of awesome vehicles with black paint that needed some restoration. Unfortunately we forgot to get some more in depth photos as we have been super busy, but for those who like to read for a minute here ya go! The Toyota Tundra received major paint correction, cutting down as much oxidation, water spotting, and scratches as we possibly could with the first stage. We used a wool pad for that! We then brought back clarity and gloss to the paint with a polish. Correction can take 15+ hours for a vehicle this size. The tundra also had sa full front PPF installed. The Tahoe was a different kind of paint correction, more of an enhancement stage which is less aggressive and we are really going for shine and gloss. The price points obviously differ between the two. The 14 year old black paint vehicle usually needs much more work than a 7 month old vehicle. Thought we would go into a bit more depth of some of the differences in some of our paint correction work! Please do not think heavy paint correction will correct your deep deep scratches… usually the rule of thumb is if you can hear a click with your fingernail in the scratch… you need to call a body shop! Update! We have been super busy with setting up the new shop while keeping a completely full schedule of PPF, Ceramic Coating, and detailing jobs. Some big news! We will be moving shops about two minutes away from our previous shop, and we couldn’t be more excited! We will be taking @spec.german old space and they are taking and renovating our old shop! The classic switch! We are excited to have a bit more space and also a horizontal layout that works better for our shop flow. We are also super happy for Spec German as they will be upgrading size by quite a bit! This absolute unit of a vehicle was given to us to ensure cleaning and maintenance was a breeze for the future. With a matte paint option on this Mercedes G-Wagon, the cleaning can be a bit tedious. 2023 Range Rover SV with a matte paint option came to us for a full body DYNOmatte PPF installation. Every surface from top to bottom was covered, including the small gloss pieces in DYNOshield clear PPF. The owner came to us not knowing what to do because it was extremely difficult to care for his matte paint… easily scratched, long washing process, and no way to make small swirls or scuffs go away even in the early stages of ownership. Unfortunately matte paint cannot be polished or corrected so the best way to protect the paint from physical damage like rock chips and scratches was PPF. We also installed a PPF safe ceramic coating on top of the film for easy maintenance! Now that it is fully wrapped he can drive knowing that his paint is protected the best, and when damage does occur we can just replace the piece and it’s good to go again! It was an absolute pleasure working on this beautiful vehicle. @stek.usa @official.stek @rangeroverofficial @landroverusa
